Motley Crue 'se divertindo' tocando em estádios após aposentadoria de 2015

Nikki Sixx diz que o Mötley Crüe está "se divertindo muito" tocando em estádios depois de se aposentar das turnês em 2015.
A banda de glam metal deixou a estrada sete anos atrás após sua 'The End Tour' antes de se reunir três anos depois.
E o baixista de 63 anos admite que está "muito grato" por ter recebido uma segunda chance depois que eles tocaram nos maiores locais da América do Norte como parte da 'The Stadium Tour', que terminou em Las Vegas em 9 de setembro.
Ele disse: "Tem sido inacreditável.
"Estou muito grato por estar fazendo isso, e começou, tipo, três anos atrás, quando o filme foi lançado - dois anos e meio atrás. Nós meio que acabamos com a banda. Nós apenas decidimos parar de fazer turnês. Estamos fazendo isso por, Deus, 35 anos naquele momento."
Ele continuou: "Tommy faz outras coisas, e eu faço outras coisas, e me lembro de receber o telefonema da administração, e eu estava tipo, 'Não'.
"E eles dizem: 'Você nem ouviu o que eu tenho a dizer'."
O baterista Tommy, 59, disse: "Nós terminamos. Nós terminamos."
Os roqueiros de 'Girls, Girls, Girls' assinaram um acordo legal prometendo não se apresentar como Mötley Crüe depois de 2015, e eles se sentiram mal em voltar atrás em sua palavra quando se reuniram em 2018.
Nikki continuou: "E nós éramos amigos, estávamos bem e está tudo bem.
"Nós ficamos tipo, 'Não, é muito trabalho.' Quando você vê o show lá fora, você vai dizer, 'Uau.' Quero dizer, foram anos de trabalho para juntar tudo, e então eles ficaram tipo, 'Não, não oito arenas, oito estádios', e eu fiquei tipo, 'Deixe-me ligar para o Tommy.'
"Eu estava tipo, 'Ei, cara, eles estão falando sobre nós em turnê', e ele disse, 'Não'. Porque queríamos ser - manter o que dissemos, e então foram 16 e 36, que acabamos de entrar em nosso 36º estádio, e há, o que, outros 120 no próximo ano e no ano seguinte, então, estamos gratos por disse sim."
Nikki admitiu: "Estamos nos divertindo muito".
Tommy disse ao 'Entertainment Tonight': "Como você pode dizer não aos estádios?"
Nikki concluiu: "Quero dizer, estamos todos nos divertindo, todos estão se divertindo... é incrível estarmos 41 anos juntos? Quero dizer, às vezes é como, 'O quê?' Pisando em algum território sagrado lá."
E a banda - também composta pelo vocalista Vince Neil, 61, e o guitarrista Mick Mars, 71 - ainda não terminou, com mais shows planejados e uma potencial terceira residência em Las Vegas.

Nikki Sixx says Mötley Crüe have been "having a blast" playing stadiums after retiring from touring in 2015.
The glam metal band quit the road seven years ago after their 'The End Tour' before reuniting three years later.
And the 63-year-old bassist admits he's "so grateful" to be given a second chance after they played at the biggest venues across North America as part of 'The Stadium Tour', which wrapped in Las Vegas on September 9.
He said: "It's been unbelievable.
"I'm so grateful to be doing this, and it started, like, three years ago when the movie came out — two and a half years ago. We kind of, we broke up the band. We just decided to quit touring. We’ve been doing it for, god, 35 years at that point."
He went on: "Tommy does other stuff, and I do other stuff, and I remember getting the phone call from management, and I was, like, 'No.'
"And they go, 'You haven't even heard what I have to say.'"
Drummer Tommy, 59, said: "We were done. We were done."
The 'Girls, Girls, Girls' rockers had signed a legal agreement promising not to perform as Mötley Crüe after 2015, and they felt bad going back on their word when they reunited in 2018.
Nikki continued: "And we were friends, and we were fine and everything's good.
"We're just like, 'No, it’s a lot of work.' When you see the show out there, you're gonna go, 'Wow.' I mean, it's years of work putting it together, and then they were like, 'No, not eight arenas, eight stadiums,' and I was like, 'Let me call Tommy.'
"I was like, 'Hey, dude, they're talking about us touring,' and he's like, 'No.' Because we wanted to be — stand by what we said, and then it was 16 and 36, which we just entered our 36th stadium, and there's, what, another 120 next year and the year after that, so, we're grateful we said yes."
Nikki admitted: "We're having a blast."
Tommy told 'Entertainment Tonight': "How can you say no to stadiums?"
Nikki concluded: "I mean, we're all having a blast, everyone's just having a good time ...it's amazing to be 41 years together? I mean, sometimes it's just like, 'What?' Stepping into some sacred territory there."
And the band - also comprising frontman Vince Neil, 61, and guitarist Mick Mars, 71 - are not done yet, with more shows planned and a potential third Las Vegas residency.
