Foo Fighter Chris Shiflett fala sobre futuro da banda e respeito por Taylor Hawkins

Chris Shiflett deu a entender que o Foo Fighters fará um novo álbum quando for a hora certa.
Os roqueiros de 'Best of You' continuam a lamentar a perda de seu amado baterista Taylor Hawkins - que morreu tragicamente aos 50 anos em março - e honram sua memória com o segundo de dois shows memoriais no Kia Forum em Los Angeles na terça-feira (27.09. 22).
E em uma nova entrevista, o guitarrista da banda disse que uma vez que eles estejam prontos para voltar ao movimento da promoção e se sentirem capazes de lidar com perguntas sobre a morte do sticksman, eles provavelmente farão um novo álbum.
O músico de 51 anos - ao qual se juntam Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel e Rami Jaffee na banda de rock - disse que, no geral, as pessoas têm sido "respeitosas" com o falecimento de Taylor, mas ele chamou a atenção poucos espalhando mentiras sobre a causa de sua morte.
Falando em 'The Plug With Justin Jay', ele disse: “A maioria das pessoas que encontrei foram respeitosas sobre isso ou tentaram evitá-lo.
“Provavelmente será [mais uma coisa] quando chegarmos a lançar outro álbum do Foo Fighters e voltarmos ao boogie woogie promocional.
“Lembro que quando entrei no Foo Fighters, era 1999, então foi um tempo depois que Kurt Cobain morreu, mas eu assistia os entrevistadores se contorcendo tentando perguntar a Dave [Grohl] sobre isso, mas não perguntavam. Eu acho que isso se tornaria esse tipo de coisa."
Chris acrescentou: “As pessoas são bastante respeitosas, mas isso me fez reconsiderar tudo o que eu achava que sabia sobre a morte de Jim Morrison, Randy Rhoads ou qualquer uma dessas tragédias do rock and roll.
“Taylor era esse grande personagem e ele significava muito para milhões de pessoas, então eu tenho esse fascínio por [sua morte], mas muito do que eu vi por aí está completamente errado.

The 'Best of You' rockers continue to mourn the loss of their beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins - who tragically died aged 50 in March - and honour his memory with the second of two memorial shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Tuesday (27.09.22).
And in a new interview, the band's guitarist has said that once they are ready to get back on the promotion bandwagon and feel able to deal with questions about the sticksman's passing, they will likely make a new record.
The 51-year-old musician - who is joined by Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel and Rami Jaffee in the rock band - said that, on the whole, people have been "respectful" about Taylor's passing, but he called out the few spreading lies about the cause of his death.
Speaking on 'The Plug With Justin Jay', he said: “Most people that I’ve encountered have been respectful about it or try to avoid it.
“It probably will be [more of a thing] when we ever get around to putting out another Foo Fighters record and go back into the promo boogie woogie.
“I remember that when I joined Foo Fighters, it was 1999 so it was a while after Kurt Cobain had died but I would watch interviewers twist themselves in knots trying to ask Dave [Grohl] about it but not ask. I would think it would turn into that kinda thing."
Chris added: “People are pretty respectful but it’s made me reconsider everything I thought I knew about Jim Morrison dying, or Randy Rhoads or any of those rock and roll tragedies.
“Taylor was this big character and he meant a lot to millions of people so I get that fascination with [his death] but so much of what I’ve seen out there is so completely wrong.
