Neil Young e Crazy Horse vão lançar o novo álbum 'World Record' em novembro.
A primeira faixa, 'Love Earth', uma ode à natureza, chegou junto com uma tracklist para a coleção de 10 músicas sobre a natureza e a luta contra as mudanças climáticas.
A lenda da música de 76 anos trabalhou com Rick Rubin na sequência de 'Barn' de 2021 nos famosos estúdios Shangri-La do mago do estúdio.
E enquanto seqüestrava uma entrevista recente com Jack White no podcast 'Broken Record' de Rick, Young entrou e provocou o próximo álbum, compartilhando que possui "combinações inéditas de instrumentos".
E transmitindo seu segredo para a longevidade no mundo da música, Young respondeu: "Se eles tiverem o espírito, eles estarão produzindo algo, porque o que mais podemos fazer?"
Em julho, o hitmaker de 'Heart of Gold' confirmou que o álbum foi finalizado e que é "diferente" de seu antecessor.
Ele brincou: "Com esta gravação, algo especial está acontecendo e sabemos que temos uma boa.
"É muito cedo para dizer mais porque neste mundo as coisas vêm e vão tão rápido. Mas a verdadeira magia dura e achamos que a temos."
Ele acrescentou em um post de blog em seu site Neil Young Archives: "É a mesma banda, Crazy Horse, mas a música é diferente de 'Barn', nossa última oferta. "Música vive!!!!! Dois discos feitos em um ano!!!!!!!"
'World Record' tem lançamento previsto para 18 de novembro.

The first track, 'Love Earth’, an ode to nature, has arrived along with a tracklist for the 10-song collection about nature and the fight against climate change.
The 76-year-old music legend worked with Rick Rubin on the follow-up to 2021's 'Barn' at the studio wizard's famous Shangri-La studios.
And while hijacking a recent interview with Jack White on Rick's 'Broken Record' podcast, Young jumped in and teased the upcoming record, sharing that it boasts “unheard-of combinations of instruments"
And imparting his secret to longevity in the music business, Young replied: "If they got the spirit, they’ll be cranking something out, because what else can we do?”
In July, the 'Heart of Gold' hitmaker confirmed that the album was finished and that it's "unlike" its predecessor.
He teased: "With this recording, something special is happening and we know we have a good one.
"It's too early to say anymore because in this world things come and go so fast. But real magic lasts and we think we have it."
He added in a blog post on his Neil Young Archives website: "It's the same band, Crazy Horse, but the music is unlike 'Barn', our last offering. "Music lives!!!!! Two records made in one year!!!!!!!"
'World Record' is due for release on November 18.
