O guitarrista do Steel Panther, Satchel, classificou o BTS como a "pior merda de merda" que ele já ouviu.
O membro da banda cômica de glam metal decidiu sobre a boy band de K-Pop depois de ouvir apenas duas músicas.
Em uma sessão de perguntas e respostas para a revista Classic Rock, ele disse: "Recentemente, fomos ao Japão e tive um dia para matar. Fiquei preso no meu quarto de hotel e alguém me disse (a boy band sul-coreana) que o BTS havia esgotado os Raiders estádio onde moro em Las Vegas. Eu pensei: 'De jeito nenhum isso pode estar acontecendo - e por quê?' Eu tinha que descobrir. Então eu ouvi duas músicas. Foi a pior merda que eu já ouvi na minha vida."
No mesmo artigo, o roqueiro de 52 anos - cujo nome verdadeiro é Russell John Parrish - disse que quer que a música de sua própria banda, a pornográfica 'Gloryhole', seja tocada em seu funeral.
Ele disse: "Eu gostaria que as músicas do Steel Panther fossem tocadas no meu funeral, porque elas são muito alegres e eu não quero ter um funeral deprimente. Então, espero que toquem 'Gloryhole' bem alto."
Enquanto isso, os roqueiros do 'Death to All But Metal' - que se formaram em Los Angeles em 2000 - garantiram aos fãs que "continuarão a agitar o mundo" após a saída do baixista Lexxi Foxx em 2021.
Eles escreveram: “Steel Panther continuará a abalar o mundo. E embora possamos nunca encontrar um baixista tão bonito quanto Lexxi, não deve ser difícil encontrar um que corresponda ao seu intelecto imponente.

The member of the comedic glam metal band made his mind up about the K-Pop boy band after listening to just two songs.
In a Q+A for Classic Rock magazine, he said: "Recently we went to Japan and I had a day to kill. I was trapped in my hotel room and somebody told me (South Korean boy band) BTS had sold out the Raiders stadium where I live in Vegas. I was like: 'No f****** way can this be happening - and why?' I had to figure it out. So I listened to two songs. It was the worst f****** s*** I've ever heard in my life."
In the same feature, the 52-year-old rocker - whose real name is Russell John Parrish - said he wants his own band's song, the X-rated 'Gloryhole', to be played at his funeral.
He said: "I'd like to have Steel Panther songs played at my funeral, because they're pretty lighthearted and I don't want to have a depressing funeral. So I hope they play 'Gloryhole' really loud."
Meanwhile, the 'Death to All But Metal' rockers - who formed in Los Angeles in 2000 - previously reassured fans that they will "continue to rock the world" following the departure of bassist Lexxi Foxx in 2021.
They wrote: “Steel Panther will continue to rock the world. And though we may not ever find a bassist quite as beautiful as Lexxi, it shouldn’t be hard to find one to match his towering intellect.
“Good luck… And goodbye Lexxi Foxx!!"
