O novo álbum do Blink-182 provavelmente será finalizado antes que eles concluam sua próxima turnê.
A banda de rock deve embarcar em uma turnê mundial no final deste mês, e Travis Barker - o baterista do grupo - revelou via mídia social que eles esperam ter concluído o álbum antes de terminar a turnê.
Travis - que é casado com a estrela do reality show Kourtney Kardashian - escreveu no Twitter: "O álbum será finalizado antes de sairmos em turnê".
No início deste ano, Travis foi forçado a se submeter a uma cirurgia para reparar um ligamento rompido em um de seus dedos.
O baterista machucou o dedo duas vezes durante os ensaios em fevereiro e recentemente confessou que isso também lhe causou certo desconforto durante a apresentação da banda no Coachella.
Ele escreveu na plataforma de microblog: "2 fins de semana consecutivos do Coachella com um dedo não cicatrizado. Gravei as últimas 4 músicas do álbum enquanto ainda tinha pontos. Turnê em 4 dias (sic)"
O Blink-182 anunciou sua reunião e planos para uma turnê mundial em 2022, e Mark Hoppus admitiu anteriormente que se sentiu aliviado em compartilhar a notícia com o mundo.
Ele disse 'After School Radio no Apple Music Hits: "Cara, sinto como se um peso tivesse sido tirado dos meus ombros. Foi um fardo carregar esse segredo por tanto tempo."
Mark, 51, também se lembra de ter sido questionado por um fã sobre uma possível reunião durante um jogo de beisebol.
Ele compartilhou: "Eu estava no jogo dos Dodgers outra noite e um fã apareceu. Era um cara e sua esposa, provavelmente no final dos anos 20, início dos 30 anos.
"Nós tiramos nossa foto, e ele disse, 'Eu amo sua banda. Cresci na sua banda.' Ele disse, 'Cara, existe alguma maneira? o quê?' E ele disse, 'Existe alguma chance de uma turnê de reunião do Blink-182 com Tom de volta à banda?' E ele tinha tanta esperança e desespero em seus olhos, e eu só queria colocar minha mão em sua ombro e dizer: 'Meu amigo, apenas espere. Apenas espere mais três, quatro dias.'"

Blink-182's new album is likely to be finished before they complete their upcoming tour.
The rock band are set to embark on a world tour later this month, and Travis Barker - the group's drummer - has revealed via social media that they expect to have completed the record before they finish the tour.
Travis - who is married to reality star Kourtney Kardashian - wrote on Twitter: "Album will be finished before we leave on tour."
Earlier this year, Travis was forced to undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in one of his fingers.
The drummer hurt the finger twice during rehearsals in February and he recently confessed that it also caused him some discomfort during the band's performance at Coachella.
He wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "2 Coachella weekends in a row with an unhealed finger. Recorded last 4 songs on the album while I still had stitches. Tour in 4 days (sic)"
Blink-182 announced their reunion and plans for a world tour in 2022, and Mark Hoppus previously admitted that he felt relieved to share the news with the world.
He told 'After School Radio on Apple Music Hits: "Man, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. That was a burden to carry that secret for so long."
Mark, 51, also recalled being asked by a fan about a possible reunion during a baseball game.
He shared: "I was at the Dodgers game the other night, and a fan came up. It was a guy and his wife, probably late twenties, early thirties.
"We take our picture, and he’s like, ‘I love your band. Grew up on your band.’ He’s like, ‘Dude, is there any way, any way at all?’ And I’m like, ‘Any way for what?’ And he’s like, ‘Is there any chance of a Blink-182 reunion tour with Tom back in the band at all?’ And he had such hope and desperation in his eyes, and I just wanted to put my hand on his shoulder and say, ‘My friend, just you wait. Just wait three, four more days.'"
