O engraçado é que eu criei isso em 2021. Foi na época em que gravei o vídeo de Essence, e quando ouvi, entrei em transe e estava conversando com Deus sobre... estou não tenho certeza do que era, eu estava apenas em transe e não me lembrei do que tinha feito até gravar, mas na verdade era apenas sobre a conversa sobre compromisso e fé. Acho que quando você cria qualquer coisa, ponto final, você está acessando algo espiritual porque está criando algo do nada. Acho que a música é muito espiritual, não importa como soe, não importa de onde venha, não importa se é reconhecida ou não. Acho que a música sempre tem energia e só quero ser o mais honesto possível na minha música.

Acho que toda essa jornada me ensinou muito sobre aprender como encontrar equilíbrio em sua vida e não ter medo, ter coragem, ser corajoso para ser você. Isso muda a sua arte porque quando você estava acostumado a ficar sozinho antes e agora você não está sozinho e não tinha ninguém, agora você tem pessoas. Portanto, as pessoas podem influenciar você de muitas maneiras. E eu acho que é apenas encontrar tempo para se recompor o máximo possível para ficar em sintonia com quem você é e por que deseja estar aqui em primeiro lugar. Acho que isso é importante, com certeza. Eu me alimento de verdade e oro muito, mas acho que só adquirir conhecimento e compreender é que você fica com os pés no chão. Porque quando as coisas estão acontecendo, se você se permitir se perder na fonte, então... Então eu apenas me alimento da verdade o tempo todo.

Foi uma experiência nova com certeza. Eu acho que o fato de apenas uma música, termos gravado aquela música em Lagos, pode ser tão... eu não sei, de repente receber todos esses reconhecimentos e é definitivamente uma experiência humilhante também porque você tem que olhar para si mesmo , olhe em volta e diga: "O que está acontecendo?" Encontre-se, cara. Foi realmente ótimo. Todo mundo é ótimo.

Bem, não posso revelar muito. Às vezes você faz planos e nem sempre as coisas acontecem de acordo com esses planos e por isso é preciso replanejar. Então, sim, coisas assim têm acontecido, mas são muito emocionantes.

So funny thing is I actually created this in 2021. It was around the time I shot the video for Essence, and when I heard it, I just went into a trance and I was having a conversation with God about... I'm not sure what it was, I was just in a trance, and I didn't remember what I had done until I recorded it, but it really was just about the conversation surrounding commitment and faith. I think when you create anything, period, you're tapping into something spiritual because you're creating something from nothing. I think music is very spiritual no matter what it sounds like, no matter where it's from, no matter whether it's acknowledged or not. I think music always has an energy and I just want to be as honest as I can in my music.

I think just this whole journey has taught me so much just about learning how to find balance in your life and not being afraid, having courage, being brave to be you. It does change your art because when you're used to be alone before and now you're not alone and used to have no one, now you have people. So people could influence you in so many ways. And I think it's just finding the time to gather yourself as much as possible so you stay in tune with who you are to why you even want to be here in the first place. I think that's important for sure. I feed myself with truth and I pray a lot, but I think just attaining knowledge and gaining understanding is how you stay grounded. Because when things are happening, if you allow yourself to get lost in the source, then... So I just feed myself on truth all the time.

It was a new experience for sure. I think the fact that just one song, we recorded that song in Lagos, can be so... I don't know, just suddenly getting all these acknowledgements and it's definitely a humbling experience as well because you have to then look at yourself, look around, be like, "What's going on?" Find yourself, man. It was really great though. Everybody's really great.
