Você sabia que há um túnel sob a Ocean Blvd, de Lana Del Rey, é o álbum de vinil mais vendido de 2023 até agora.
O nono LP de estúdio autoanalítico do ícone do pop alternativo, Você sabia que há um túnel sob a Ocean Blvd. tornou-se o sexto álbum de Lana número 1 no Reino Unido no início deste ano. Até o momento, já vendeu 34 mil cópias em vinil. Após sua estreia, Você sabia… proporcionou a Lana sua semana de estreia mais forte em quase uma década, desde Ultraviolência em 2014.
Uma nova exibição em segundo lugar é Speak Now (Taylor's Version) de Taylor Swift, que estendeu a série recorde de Taylor de 10 álbuns consecutivos número 1 no Reino Unido. Ainda a única artista feminina a alcançar esse feito neste século, Taylor é a artista feminina com o segundo maior número de álbuns na história das paradas do Reino Unido. The Ballad of Darren do Blur ganha o título de terceiro maior álbum de vinil de 2023 até agora, enquanto o Top 5 é completado por Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent (4) de Lewis Capaldi, que ainda ostenta a maior semana de abertura de qualquer álbum este ano, e Tension (5) de Kylie Minogue está provando ser algo para ficar de olho ao entrar na lista dos mais vendidos de vinil depois de apenas uma semana à venda.
Também classificados no Top 10 estão High Flying Birds' Council Skies (7) de Noel Gallagher e o segundo LP número 1 do Gorillaz, Cracker Island (9).
Em outros lugares, outros álbuns número 1 de 2.023 que estão na lista incluem But Here We Are (11), do Foo Fighters, The Record, do Boygenius (12), GUTS, recente líder das paradas de Olivia Rodrigo (13), Ed Sheeran - (21), Niall Horan's The Show (22), This Is Why do Paramore (25) e 72 Seasons do Metallica (28).

The self-analytical ninth studio LP from the alt-pop icon, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. became Lana’s sixth UK Number 1 album earlier this year. To date, it’s sold 34,000 copies on vinyl. Upon its debut, Did you know… provided Lana with her strongest opening week in nearly a decade, since Ultraviolence in 2014.
A brand-new showing in second place is Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which extended Taylor’s record-setting run of 10 consecutive UK Number 1 albums. Still the only female artist to achieve this feat this century, Taylor is the female artist with the second-most Number 1 albums in UK chart history. Only Madonna, with 12 in total, has more. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) has now sold over 29,000 vinyl copies to date.

Thanks to celebratory re-releases, several hit albums from yesteryear have returned to relevance, including the Courteeners’s St Jude (16) which hit Number 1 for the first time ever last year, De La Soul’s 1989 debut 3 Feet High And Rising (18), David Bowie’s revelatory 1972 record The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust celebrating its 50th anniversary (30) and The 1975’s self-titled debut (35) one of the most quietly influential albums in modern pop.
